Who Is The Bishop

Bishop Robert Kasaro is a Christian leader and the Apostolic Founder of Jesus Calls Worship Centre International (JCWC).

His ministry is rooted in faith, teaching, and pastoral care, with a consistent focus on healing, restoration, and helping people rebuild their lives through the Word of God.

His work spans congregational leadership, national faith engagement, teaching, and international ministry relationships.

Biography and the Founding of JCWC

Bishop Robert Kasaro founded Jesus Calls Worship Centre in 1996 in Matsapha, Eswatini. The church began meeting in a classroom at a local school near the University of Eswatini. The school was affectionately known as “Empra” by the founding members and later by the wider congregation. From the outset, the gatherings centered on prayer, Scripture, and fellowship, forming a church community grounded in care and belonging.

Over time, JCWC developed into an established church with a growing congregation. Today, Jesus Calls Worship Centre International includes the main church in Matsapha and fifteen branch churches across Southern Africa, with a shared burden to extend the ministry across the African continent. The combined membership of JCWC, including its branches, is approximately 5,000 people. JCWC remains the pastoral home and congregational base from which Bishop Kasaro continues to serve.

The vision of the church has consistently been to serve the dejected, the ostracized, the outcasts, the hurt, the lost, and the forgotten. This vision is reflected in the church’s guiding phrase, “a place you can call home.” The ministry emphasizes healing and restoration, helping people regain dignity, stability, and purpose, and encouraging them to take their place in society while remaining grounded in the Word of God.

Calling and Ministry Focus

Bishop Kasaro understands ministry as a calling centered on responsibility to people and faithfulness to Scripture. His work has focused on restoring individuals and families, strengthening faith, and equipping believers to live purposeful lives. As the ministry developed, his calling found expression beyond the local church through teaching, leadership development, and engagement with the wider Christian community.

To support this focus, Bishop Kasaro established a Bible institute with a vision to train leaders of influence within the church and across the African continent. The institute reflects the ministry’s commitment to long-term impact through sound teaching, mentorship, and spiritual formation.

Leadership and National Faith Service

In addition to his role at JCWC, Bishop Robert Kasaro serves in national Christian leadership. He is the current President of the Eswatini Conference of Churches (ECC), the evangelical body that covers Pentecostal, Evangelical, and Charismatic churches in Eswatini. His involvement with the ECC reflects a commitment to unity within the Body of Christ and to the defense of Christian principles.

Bishop Kasaro joined the ECC as Secretary General in 2004, served as Vice President from 2016 to 2020, and assumed the position of President in March 2021 in accordance with the ECC Constitution. His leadership experience has contributed to advancing the ECC’s vision, mission, and core values, particularly its focus on unity and the safeguarding of Christian doctrine.

International Ministry and Apostolic Engagement

Bishop Kasaro’s ministry extends beyond Eswatini through teaching, apostolic relationships, and participation in international Christian networks. His work has had impact in various African nations, Latin America, Australia, the Caribbean Islands, Asia, and the United States of America.

He serves as a board member of Dr. Yonggi Cho’s Church Growth International Ministry Board of Directors in South Korea. He is also a member of the Council of African Apostles and a board member of the Covenant Apostolic Global Team. These roles reflect his involvement in global leadership development while remaining rooted in his pastoral base..

Teaching, Authorship, and Community Impact

Teaching is central to Bishop Kasaro’s ministry. Through sermons, conferences, and written resources, he addresses themes such as faith, character, leadership, healing, and restoration. His teaching encourages practical application of Scripture in personal life, family life, and community engagement.

Bishop Robert Kasaro is the author of two books, When Life Turns Around and The East Wind, which explore themes of change, faith, endurance, and spiritual understanding. These works form part of his broader teaching ministry and reflect his emphasis on guiding people through seasons of difficulty and renewal using biblical principles.

Alongside teaching and authorship, the ministry associated with Bishop Kasaro has been involved in community-focused initiatives aimed at supporting education, healthcare access, and assistance to vulnerable families. These efforts align with the ministry’s commitment to restoration and care.

Family and Ministry Life

Bishop Robert Kasaro is married to Her Royal Highness Princess Lindiwe Kasaro. Together, they lead JCWC and share a commitment to faith, family, and service. Princess Lindiwe plays a supportive role within the ministry, particularly in areas focused on care, encouragement, and community upliftment.

They are parents to three children: Jude, Sibonakaliso, and Mphilisi. Bishop Kasaro regards family life as foundational to ministry and community, reflecting values of unity, responsibility, and faith.
